December Night was Deni Chau 's 17th song after 'See you later my friend'. It was written on 8 June 1999 in Perth Australia. In December 1997, the writing of this song began but it was abandoned until early December 1998. The composing this music and writing the lyrics for The Little Match Girl was difficult. The completion of this song was on 8 June 1999. The original music tempo was 92 and its original title was 'December'. The lyrics was incomplete at this time. The idea to convert this song into a Christmas tale "The Little Match Girl" theme slowed down this song to tempo 75.
Unfortunately the cassette tape ribbon contained original December Night The Little Match Girl was jammed and broken.
There were musicians played covers of this song since its release in 1999, but the only recorded uploaded cover videos were played by: Chelsea Larissa, Ryu Lawden, and Stelly Fong.
December Night was replayed by Deni on 16 and 17 September 2024; and on 19 December 2024 as part of Christmas Music 2024 in Perth.

On 16 September 2024 this music was the first to be played during my LIVE streaming event. And on 17 September 2024 this music was the first again to be replayed again as part of 30th anniversary music video.
